Quarterly Capitol Connection Update Recording Available
The government relations team at the Montana Chamber of Commerce shared an update on our work this interim, including in the courts.
In the recording, we share:
- An update on our strategic planning process as we develop a plan to guide the MT Chamber into the future.
- Our recent actions in the courts. We filed against the state in Ballot Initiative 194 and the court ruled that the case could not yet proceed since the voters have not yet acted on the measure. We expect to bring the case back later. We also filed to intervene in the second Held v. Montana case to defend the reforms we helped pass last legislative session.
- Updates in the workforce and child care arena.
