Property tax issues were the number one issue during the 2025 legislative session. In an attempt to provide property tax relief for Montana homeowners, lawmakers passed legislation that in many cases, significantly increased the property taxes most businesses pay.
The Montana Chamber of Commerce is leading tax reform efforts. As the state’s largest and most influential business advocacy organization, we need your story to better define the problem for Montana decision makers.
