HELENA— As part of an effort to recruit native Montanans back home and to reach a young demographic, the Montana Chamber Foundation has launched Make Montana Home , a website to recruit talent to the Treasure State. You can visit the website at www.MakeMontanaHome.Org.
The Chamber Foundation worked with Tadpull, a Bozeman based digital research and marketing firm, to understand how relocation decisions are made, what factors weigh most heavily and what and where information is accessed. The site, created and designed by English Creek Studios in Bozeman, used these findings to create its array of content.
The website is one aspect of a long-term strategy to use digital communications to reach out globally to connect with Montanans and others who might “Make Montana home.”  Fresh content will be added from feature stories to job openings.
The campaign also targets telecommuters, those who might work remotely from Montana or move here and bring their jobs with them. A Montana Telecommuters Facebook page has launched to connect those working remotely around the state. The website also links to the growing number of companies that hire remotely.
“My observation, after 25 years in the economic development field, is that talent is the most important component of a thriving economic landscape,” said Liz Marchi, project partner. “In years of angel investing, we found that teams and people matter most. I am excited to see the Montana Chamber engage in a larger vision to build prosperity in this amazing state.”
This website was made possible by the Montana Chamber Foundation’s ten-year strategic plan —Envision 2026 —and generous grants and investments from the Gianforte Family Foundation, the Folkvord Family Foundation, the Rowe and Reynolds Charitable Fund and 46 other investors companies and foundations. In the next 10 years, the Montana Chamber Foundation wants to transform Montana by inspiring the next generation of Montana business leaders and maintain our position as a national leader in Entrepreneurship.
