Following the Worksite Wellness Conference, the Chamber Choices prize patrol hit 9 cities in 4 days. During this annual Chamber Choices summer tour, we promoted “Healthy Choices” by bringing fresh apples and listening to fresh ideas in Kalispell, Missoula, Butte, Bozeman, Livingston, Billings, Lewistown, Great Falls and Helena. Each year, Chamber Choices makes a point to reach out to local Chambers and local health insurance agents to touch base about the state of the health insurance and small business market. Chamber Choices “walked the walk” and brought reminders about the new wellness benefits, like Employee Assistant Program (EAP), $5,000 life insurance, $100 preventive dental, $1,000 colonoscopy, and more. The best part of the tour was hand-delivering agent awards to our 2008 Outstanding Agents. Considered trusted advisors to employers, agents are a vital part of each local community and a conduit for information to businesses. Chamber Choices values the commitment and work of agents and each year recognizes those agents that go the extra mile.
